At SEO LAB SINGAPOREâ„¢, we believe remarkable talent, enthusiasm, and creative thinking add up to great work. We’re looking for a creative thinker with excellent writing and research skills to help us elevate that work as our full-time, in-house copywriter. As a member of the creative team, our copywriter will write and edit copy for a variety of projects (including print, web, mobile, video, and social media), working closely with the accounts and design teams to brainstorm ideas, create concepts, and develop messaging. Thorough research and interviews will be required to understand each client’s industry, products/services, branding, and marketing goals. The most successful copywriter will be a quick learner with a versatile writing style.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop compelling and innovative content for a wide range of business verticals.
  • Work with the SEO experts to maximise the online presence of a website in search results
  • Influence the audience through a well written and inspiring piece of work
  • Keep track of competitors’ products and industry trends
  • Write original copy and edit content for a range of corporate marketing and communications materials
  • Research new topics to find unique ideas that can be used to create a more engaging content compared to other similar contents
  • Create and manage multiple blog and social media posts
  • Craft slogans and tag lines with restricted character limitations
  • Organise and schedule multiple projects and engagements to meet within stipulated deadlines
  • Participate in cross-team meetings and propose innovative futuristic ideas

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 3+ years experience in content creation, record of an excellent professional portfolio demonstrating excellent writing skills will be a plus
  • Diploma or Degree in Mass Communications or any other relevant field
  • Mastery of grammar rules and excellent sentence construction
  • Familiar with social media platforms and SEO practices
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Effective communication and excellent time management skills
  • Proficiency in computer literacy which includes platforms such as Google Docs, Microsoft Word, Pages and Excel
  • Experience working with content management systems like WordPress, Shopify, etc.
  • Proofreading experience and familiarity with standard style guides
  • Good social and people management skills
  • Creative and strategic thinkers who have an eye for details
  • Able to execute quality work on tight timelines
